Harvard cancelled our meeting – we’re wearing buttons anyway!
Unfortunately, the administration has cancelled tomorrow’s scheduled bargaining session due to “unforeseen circumstances.” While we don’t know the reason, we do know that every delay in bargaining benefits the employer, and that we’re still waiting on responses on more than a dozen proposals.
To keep up the pressure on Harvard this term, we will be wearing buttons on bargaining days! If you already have your button, please go ahead and wear it tomorrow as planned. If you don’t have a button, let us know and we’ll get you one! We have several stylish options.
The next scheduled bargaining sessions are:
- Thursday, Feb 6, 1-4pm
- Thursday, March 6, 1-4pm
Wearing a button is a small act, but when we do it together it shows our unity and power in ways Harvard will notice!
In solidarity,
HAW-UAW Bargaining Committee
